Making Inferences based on Graphs

Take a look at the following graph from an animal protection shelter.

You need to make an inference about why the data is doing what it is doing.  Since you can only guess about this, an inference will usually start with the word ‘Maybe’. You must make 2 inferences. Get as creative as you want! Make sure you post your response below.

I hope everyone had a great summer! I changed my name over the summer to Mrs. Gross, so that when the baby is born, she will have our last name! Yes- SHE! We found out that it is a girl! I am due in the middle of November! The students can still call me Mrs. Beacock, but report cards, my e-mail, etc. will all be Gross! Twitter and Instagram will remain the same (Beacock).
